I just got this tremendous tenor sax in and wow, I'm impressed. It plays big, huge even. Setup and ready for use. That silver plated neck is how they come new, that is the original and the original hardshell case.
These are over $6000 new.
Not only that , I have a second R+C silverplated neck that comes with it and offers a distinctly different response.
This horn is keyed to high F, no high F# key.

REVIEW
Many modern saxes produce a pure sound that can be a little 'one dimensional'. Some players prefer to sacrifice some of this purity for a richer 'multi dimensional' tone where harmonic layers can be more easily exploited. This is one reason why vintage instruments are sought after but if you want the benefits of modern day reliability, ergonomics and intonation then bring on the Rampone!
