Martin Committee III tenor

Sale Price:$0.00 Original Price:$0.00

Martin Committee III tenor. This is a 210xxx from 1960.
In spite of the deep cut to the engraving I don’t believe the finish is original. . The neck certainly has been refinished separate from the horn but it is original with the matching number. The original thumb rest was replaced with something better that won't get lost like the original adjustable.

It has a recent overhaul, the pads are uniform with selmer style nylon resos. After that it was brought to South Florida horns for an improved setup. You can see the receipts in the listing.

The main thing about this horn is the sound. It is big, crisp, edgy , complex, a total Taiwanese horn annihilator. Its also a comparatively lightweight horn unlike those behemoths being produced these days.
It sounds very much like my beloved 50's Super 20 for a much lower price.
