When it arrived here it was missing a neck and the low eb/c keys. I happened to have a very nice model correct Superba neck so that was done. Then it took a long while but eventually we found a Keilwerth donor horn and culled the Eb/C. Keilwerth but not original to the horn. Works very well.
My guy went through it and got it playing with a mix of mostly older but working pads. There was no low Bb pad so that is new, you can see by contrast the low B. I try to show the pads to give an idea.
Original lacquer.
Original case, heavy and ugly with rips in the outer fabric but totally functional. It has the flap that fits over the horn. Missing the front handle but has the mounts. Some other case options may be possible. This one is too heavy for most players to want to carry around. I know from experience.
While it is playing it obviously could be improved with a good shakedown all the way up to a full OH.
The body is in very good shape as you can see.
A friend who studied repair w/ Ernie Sola looked at the horn while at my place. He saw just a series of small leaks , easily taken out that would improve it even further. The neck is tight but could be a hair tighter, you could get that done with a tiny piece of tape on the tenon.
The high F# key , if you use it, is slightly sluggish, otherwise mechanically its all there
