Conn New Wonder I Gold Plate

$0.00

Conn New Wonder I tenor in gold plate . 1924 Original gold plate and body both in excellent condition.

Pads are all functioning fine, it just had a setup and is playing very well.

Body is in outstanding condition, very well cared for. Gold plate has also been well cared for as you can see. This is from the same year as Lester Young's 144444 and the tone is huge and complex exactly as you'd want.

The strap hook has been moved to a better position and a removable Bis extender has been added. Cull an Eb palm from a later Conn and keep the original stored away and the key work and fit are all improved.

Neck is in great shape, also well cared for and retaining most of its finish , showing how little use the horn received in its lifetime.

It comes in a good heavy case with side handle.
