King Super 20 Alto #379XXX. This two owner, mostly one owner horn is in remarkable condition especially considering it was once used to tour the US and open for acts like Heart and Cheap Trick by a member of an all girl new wave band.
The case and lacquer are original. The pads are older but seating to perfection and getting such great performance out of the horn that changing them at this point doesn't make sense. Older pads don't always function at full performance but these sure seem to be. This horn just rips and would work well in a variety of settings. For an alto player who really wants to grab the spotlight Kings of this era are tough to beat.
