Selmer Bb and A clarinets
The Bb with the M serial number is a Modele 55 from 1945
The A is a Centered Tone from 1953
This set was in use by a professional player and he has kept them in very good condition.
There are no cracks with one exception, the bell for the A clarinet does have a crack but is fully functional
Both play very well.
Three Selmer barrels as shown.
The double Selmer case is clean and functional.
A Selmer Paris mouthpiece w/ cap/ligature is also included.
The craftsmanship and wood quality from that era are hard to equal. These are wonderful sounding and very easily responsive instruments both with a huge rich tone.
