Vintage Yamaha YAS-62 alto sax
Original lacquer Purple Label from the era when this was the best horn Yamaha made. They are better than the current production which are nice horns too.
This one is exceptional. Super responsive, set up well, belonged to a top pro who's scaling back (he backed Marvin Gaye among others).
Its a vibrant horn and needs absolutely nothing. It outplays many VI's I've tried.
